Your Garbage Disposal is not a tree mulcher. During the holidays, well wishing friends and relatives want to help in the kitchen with the clean-up. Don\\\'t let them. Because they are going to overload your drainage system at the kitchen sink by jamming everything that is left over down the disposal. NOOOO!!!! The system is not designed to handle that much refuse. Most disposal manufacturers say only pre-processed foods should be introduced into the disposal for optimum operation. Be careful and use the compost pile if you have it for scrapes of the garbage can. It will save you time, money and headaches.
