Compression Angle Stop
Update for the do-it-yourselfes. As a rule you should never re-use the old compression nut and sleeve on a compression angle stop. There is no way to tell if it will seat properly. Remove the old sleeve and nut and use the one provided with your new stop. As I mentioned earlier, if the sleeve and nut have been crushed around the pipe, cutting off the nut may be necessary and a mip adapter may have to be installed, which will require soldering. Look to future Blogs and videos for this type of repair.
